Kansas City Zoo

Tuesday we went to the Kansas City Zoo for the first time with Myles. Friends Blake, Lindsey, and Camden came along with us. I'm very thankful that Myles is so flexible and was willing to take his naps in the car and in the stroller that day. He is probably so flexible because I'm like "Eh... he'll be fine..." He's pretty chill about everything. He did great though, and still slept for 2.25 hours that day. Not too shabby.
The LONG line to get in!
Waiting patiently...
Playing with Cam and sharing his cool water bottle. This boy loves plastic water bottles!
Sweet Camden

Myles and dada checking out the polar bear. It was so fun hearing Myles name so many of the animals today. He recognized and said: Bear, Pig, Dog, Duck, Ohh Ohh (monkey), Moo (cow), and Bird.
I love how much he is learning.
Blake and Cam checking out the bear too.
Sweet little profile.
Me being educational. Taking a picture to take back to my Ancient Civilizations class!
Looking at the "Ohh Ohh"

YES! Here it is... proof that this boy is actually mine. Finally a pic that I can see the resemblance.
The "Ohh Ohhs"
Taking a break.
Trying to get a group pic... but we have babies people!

Monkey Cam hanging on dada's shoulders.
I like this pic. He is actually looking at what I'm pointing to.

"Mama, are you sure?"
So this is HUGE for Myles. When he was a little guy we took him to Deanna Rose and if an animal even looked at him wrong he busted into tears. He was very much terrified of the animals. NOW a huge sheep is in his face and wanting to eat his crackers!!! He did wonderful!

Finding the sheep's nose.
Giving the sheep some crackers and scaring mommy... I like Myles sweet little fingers...

Yea buddy! You did it!
Being silly with Mama
Little man was starting to get tired...

About to fall asleep on dada while looking at the elephants.
Blake and Cam
Buddy is nodding off. He finally gave in and let us put down the stroller back and he fell asleep.
AND dada was exhausted when we got home!
